Bottoms Up!

I braved the cold today to walk to the park in town with the aim of taking a landscape photograph for todays blip. However, I spotted an opportunity which I thought was too good to miss. It was bitterly cold in the park and the light made the water look like lead.

Most of the boating lake has iced over bar a small section where our intrepid diver could be found. The drake was tugging frantically at something for quite a while with a great deal of purpose and verve. Given the conditions he had my complete admiration.

Well, I presume he was tugging at something. Like me, I guess he could have been shivering violently.
