Room with a view

The GI infection that I have battled repeatedly since March came back with a vengeance this week. After trying 2 days of outpatient IV fluids, I was too dehydrated to stay home. In fact, they needed ultrasound to place my IVs. Last year when this happened, I was put in a bed in a cubicle in a freezing part of the hospital. This year, I got my own room with a view. In either location, the care here is excellent. But the view is so much more enjoyable and healing. Hopefully, I will get home tonight.
