Parker's Mountain

They had just bought land here.
Now, a beautiful black and white house
Stands tall on this ground.
We thought of this place as Parker's Mountain.
Now, Ella is here.
Grateful for her and her smile,
The light in her brown eyes,
A little girl full of energy,
Who lights up a room.
And grateful for Parker,
A little boy who stole our hearts,
and grateful for his mountain.
