Going South from @goNORTHFEST
Home from Inverness, where I've been for the last three days, working at the goNORTH Festival
Just taken this lot out of my capacious handbag....
Two of the circled acts on the running order, Miss Irenie Rose * and Broken Ravens, I didn't see, but I did catch Glaswegian hip hop star, Hector Bizerk, and Crieff's own Angus Munro.
Together with social media guru, Lady Walker, I even managed a bit of the Closing Party, where someone called Roman Nose was performing a set.
I believe he's a big name DJ but I am an old fart and didn't stay long because I was needing my bed by that stage and I reckoned I was dancing in a weird way...
Around 1am, Lady Walker and I agreed it was time to call it a night so we staggered through the streets of Inverness to our hotel as The Ironworks bounced to the sound of Mr Nose.
I've got lots of new music to listen to in the next few days. The brown card handmade CD sleeve was made by Siobhan Wilson, the young singer songwriter I raved about it yesterday's Blip.
An early night beckons...
*I did see Miss Irenie Rose in Stornoway back in January and she's definitely worth listening to
