Chapels

One thing Antikythera is not short of is chapels - by my reckoning there is one for every four inhabitants which is not a bad ratio. This one is the one opposite where we are staying Mainly I gather from inhabitants returning form working overseas - often Australia - coming back and building a chapel to give thanks for something.
There is one Orthodox priest on the island who is married - as you are allowed to be if you are married before you are ordained.. You are not allowed to get married after ordination. Seemed an odd idea until I was explained to me and then I made some sort of sense.
