Raindrenched

When I woke this morning, the atmosphere felt really electric. Something was going to break. I got to the gym before the heavens let rip and we could hear the rain pounding on the roof - and big crashes even louder than when the men drop the weights !

With the thunder and lightning, they wouldn't let us in the outdoor pool (spoilsports !) but when the worst had passed, it was lovely to go out into the cool water and enjoy the freshness.

Since then it has rained almost non stop - with the odd sunny spell. I ventured out to find the garden decidedly soggy and this poor geranium very sorry for herself.
