Oban

Trip to the cathedral in Oban today, for a festival Eucharist to celebrate lay ministry in the diocese. An excellent occasion, and an excellent lunch too! The cathedral is a fascinating building, never quite finished (see history etc. here) and it has a certain eccentricity and character that rather matches our diocese. I don't get to that many services here, even being on chapter, maybe something to work on in the future...
