Opening time..

Official opening of the new Scourie Sports Pavilion by Lady Jane Grosvenor, followed by a Shinty 6's competition, and evening ceilidh.

What a nice lady she is. I sat on the grass next to her to watch the shinty, and we discussed the similarities and differences with hockey. It has been a fantastic day with hot sunshine, and a nice breeze to keep the midges away. This is the Shinty teams before the tournament started, along with a crowd of spectators (can you spot G?)..

A quick shower now, and then off to do the bar for the dance..
