My next Project.

I have at last got round to preparing the wood so I can mount the Skeleton clock with in it. Still a way to go yet as I will have to cut an exact size hole for the clock to fit in. When mounted, one will be able to see right through the clock, hence the name Skeleton.

I will shape the wood so it 'flows' around the clock from the 8 o'clock position over the top and round to the 4 o'clock position leaving a wide base for the clock to put on a shelf or mantel piece. I hope you can see what I mean.
The wood I am using is Sapele. When sanded down and polished, it is a really nice wood to look at.

I will keep you informed of how I am progressing.
