Top of the World

Well, maybe not quite the top of the World, but the top of John Lewis, on the roof! I was delighted to find that they'd opened a rooftop garden to celebrate their '150th'! I'd had quite enough of shopping in Oxford Street and saw the sign for the garden up on 5th floor, so spent about an hour, drinking a coffee and sitting in the unexpected, very warm sunshoine (drying my soaked umbrella from the earlier downpour...I'd been 'up town' for hours). Well worth a little look up there if you are in the West End.

I'm sitting outside in the garden now in the last of the evening sunshine...totally unexpected, I thought I'd be inside with rain lashing down outside!
