And they did.

I've just been treated to the most wonderful day out with the family I shared a meal with last evening.

A day out with a narrow boat from Trevor basin starting out crossing the Pontcysyllte aqueduct and on as far as Chirk for a picnic and then the return as the weather picked up for the afternoon.

Brought many memories back of holidays past when we were all a lot younger.

I'm not sure who enjoyed the day the most.

Me, this young man - who BTW is being held up by his Daddy to watch Grandad having a go at the navigation bit - or said Daddy.
