Aid to Bee
Think this wee chap had came inside to escape the downpours this morning. After battering itself silly trying to get back out through the glass, as soon as I'd let it out it flopped on to the ground and didn't move. Gave me plenty of time to rake out the old macro extension tubes and set up the camera an inch off of it's antennae. Squirted some sugary water down for it and, after a couple of minutes and just as the rain started again, it sloped off to shelter in some nearby flowers.
Rain stayed off long enough this afternoon for a run out on the bike. Cycled up to the Wallace Monument (ok, when I say cycled, it was - cycled, stopped, coughed up a lung, cycled again, stopped, pretending I was fixing something, then cycled to the top). Strava said that was the sixtieth best time. Out of sixty five.
Know how that bee felt after that.
