He's gone!

Alfie cat has been unamused by a temporary household visitor this weekend. Our son's Welsh mountain dog has been in residence, a big furry cannonball of a dog who has entertained us with his frolicking, and tired out our leggy Pointer who usually has boundless energy. One dog in the house is just about tolerable, Alfie's demeanour has persistently suggested, but two!

Our Welsh visitor has been collected, calm is restored, and Alfie has been giving me meaningful looks as if to say ' thank goodness!'
