Let's print!

The first object that caught my eye when I walked into this artist studio was an old fashioned mangle, the kind I remember my mother using in Wales every Monday on washday.


But artist Christine McIver has a very different use for it. Her husband, on their marriage, gave her it and she uses it to print her monoprints and collagraphs.

Christine has the kind of studio artists dream of – a converted stable block overlooking open countryside with windows on three sides overlooking open countryside on the outskirts of Stirling.

She is exhibiting with three friends, Caroline, Prentice, and Sarah under the umbrella of Eastneuk Four in this year’s Forth Valley Open Studios.

Well, worth a visit.
