“It’s called ‘Demise of British Tourism’ and centres around Stereoscopy (3D imaging) and the tourist industry. I was recommend a book by my tutor. It was by Brian May of all people, the Queen guitarist.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, he’s really passionate about the subject actually, and works with the London Stereoscopy Company to find and repair rare stereo cards."
“What’s something about Stereoscopy that most people don’t know?”
“They produced stereo cards for people to experience places from around the world which they couldn’t visit or see at that time. It allowed them to feel like they were there, looking at the scene with their own eyes - they were used as postcards.”
