Two birthday party invites for the same day, at the same time.

My husband and daughter off to one.......
My son and I heading out to the other.

Gymnastics club for the little girls.
Gymnastics club for the big boys.

Running, jumping, bouncing, giggling, bouncing, jumping, running.
Roars of laughter, happy faces and smiles from ear to ear.

Cake, juice boxes, presents galore.

Heading to the pizza parlor after party #2 to meet up with party #1.
As we begin to drive across town he says to me, "I'm sleepy".

Three small words that we rarely hear.
