Pumpkin Carving Contest

After yesterday's episode in pumpkin feasting, today was "Take 2."

Late this morning I arrived home from church to find our hungry squirrel back at the pumpkin feast, and this time he'd brought his spouse or maybe it was just a friend. Actually he might have paid the other guy to come be a lookout.

I'd love to know what he was thinking as I stood there for what seemed like an eternity waiting for him to dive in. Finally he did, and here's the proof.

And Mr. Fun caught me, and here's the proof.

Okay, that's it for the pumpkin blips. The next few days we won't be near the backyard. We're taking the camera on location.

You'll just have to stay-tuned to see what get's blipped. One thing for sure, the next time we see those pumpkins, they will all be entries in the "Pumpkin Craving Contest" in Rosie & Mr. Fun's backyard.

It's been a great Summer Sunday, but it's not summer. We need rain. If you've got some, we'll trade you some pumpkins for some rain.
