Happy Valley

I jumped in the pool today, swam 10 strokes and twisted my knee. Damndamndamndamndamn. The downside was that Mrs B and I couldn't go to the lovely A's for dinner. The upside was we were able to catch up on the last 2 episodes of the absolutely sensational crime thriller by Sally Wainwright, Happy Valley. I can't remember seeing a series with so many great female roles and Sarah Lancashire is just a knock-out. Wow, what an actress. Couldn't recommend her or the series more highly.

Now gone to bed with a pillow, ibuprofen gel and anti-inflammatories. We're headed for London on Thursday and it has GOT to be better by then. We're just to busy for this and I am deeply pissed off. Humph!
