Raindrops on Red

As you can see it is still raining. We have been lucky here in Christchurch that we didn't get the flooding that was predicted from the heavy rain, but other parts of Canterbury were not so lucky. Here is a photo of the flooding which has closed SH1 between Waikuku and Amberley. Rangiora has been badly effect as well with some people having to be evacuate from their homes.

This lovely red Geranium I have blipped before and is really hardy. I got a cutting from my Aunty Nancy a few years ago and never seems to stop flowering. I did noticed after the frosts the colour seemed to take on a slight purple tinge.
