Clearance.

Woke just after 7am to the sound of a small digger clearing the snow from the footpaths. A bit of a thaw last night, so I guess the council decided that they could safely remove a lot of the packed ice without damaging the pavements too much. Have notices a few cracks that have appeared because of the ice though.

Took this from the back door looking over to our neighbour's house. John and Paul are moving today, so I guess they've been clearing things too. Will be sad to see them move.
