Soften.

I always try and buy some longiflorum lilies for the holidays. They smell great and they last for ages, but after three weeks this one was on it's way out to the bin. Still made a subject for some experimentation with a black stocking though.

Very versatile things black stockings - (I've even seen my dad use them to fix a fan belt) - and much less expensive than a soft focus filter. Probably a hard thing for a guy to explain away if it was to inadvertently fall out of his camera bag though!
