Ladies who lunch.

Today I had a ladies lunch date,with some ladies i knew ,some not so much .Some who are staying ,some who are leaving,thus is the way of expat life!

We had a tasty lunch from salads to burgers all appreciated greatly by us.

Here is my great friend Ioana testing the quartet of sorbets we ordered with multiple spoons so we can share.She is a lovely lady who has been through some health issues lately,but seems to be coming out of it really well,looking great and full of energy and joie de vivre-I am proud of her and also inspired by her strength!

We arrived in the sun and sat outside on the terrace but sadly by the time we left the thunderstorms returned -boo hoo!

The exams seem to have gone ok for my remaining -stuck at home-poor son.:(
The message from the south of france for youngest son last night was that they arrived ,all was well they ate and it was 30 degrees!
Daughter in Greece seems still alive ,a little tired and jaded by partying ,but seeming to be having fun and the pics she sends her brother (not me ??)look lovely..

Hubby has the car part packed for his trip to the boat tomorrow ,still need some more bags to be filled yet though ..

Hope your days are going well ,not much time for catching up with your journals at the mo,hope it calms soon!

As an aside to dave the rave -I have my euromillions ticket and am hoping for more winnings later!
