New phone

So my phone that got shipped off to hospital is dead, beyond economic repair and they declared any warranty was void as it was water damage. Er but I've not dropped it in water..... Er ok so I did stuff it in my sports bra, but my iPods always used to survive that treatment.

Now did my network provider bother to tell me er no. I had to phone them today to find out what was happening. Another very long phone call being past from pillar to post and then discovering that they had reset my my contract date, grrrr so I had to get them to reset it again fingers crossed it's not messed up my special discount again. Anyway no chance of a free early upgrade cause it's too early and no special your are such a great customer deals (I have been with the same provider for years) on just buying a replacement handset. My contract buy out price is at full contract rate not my special discount rate.

Grrrrr

So this evening was spent trawling around looking at various options. In the end I found a reasonable replacement and sim free so I will let my contract run out and come December I will be off to a shiny new network and will get my beloved HTC one (well unless I fall in love with another phone between now and then).

But for now phone yay and a voice mail was waiting for me to arrange the second part of my pre employment medical.
