Beans and Blood Lilies
Our Bean Plants, Blue Lake Bush, are producing like crazy now. If you've never grown green beans in your garden...they start out rather slowly and then all of a sudden you've got more beans than you can eat. This 'forces' you to be very 'neighborly' and gift those around you with bags of the tasty little green veggies! This is a shot of this morning's picking. I picked as many two days ago. Not bad for 6 plants! These particular beans are destined to be gifted to some neighbors who recently gave us two metal circa late '50s lawn chairs. We are having them, the chairs that is, Powder-Coated in Burgundy. This process will make those chair look new again!
Just what is the significance of the Blood Lilies to the Beans, you ask? None:) I just wanted the opportunity to 'show-off' these amazing Flowers one more time. I didn't feel quite right Blipping them again, so I thought I'd just sneak them in with the Beans. Worked, right?
