'Compassion'

The sunshine today has encouraged the first bud on my new (replacement) Rose 'Compassion' to open....a deep colour at the start but will gradually fade to a softer shade...and smells heavenly!

Last year I removed my original plant....as it was over twenty years old and had become too woody... Its actually a climber...but I will maintain it as a bush Rose with constant pruning.
