More a case of either
"Not suffering, but sun-bathing" as we'd have discovered if we had approached it and it emulated a greased weasel.
or
"A surfeit of Blackbirds.", After yesterday.

"Ooer Bwoy" + Clicky rolled up today to run off with the surplus table mentioned some days ago.

A brew was in order and, as usual, one or another of us was window gazing. In this instance it was "another of us", who pointed out this gentleman taking the sun on the front lawn. I had, of late, seen a number of the local winged rats taking in the rays on the back grass, ("The front" has a lawn, "the back" merely has grass.) I even spotted one which appeared to be lying on its own wing , like a blanket.

I came "within a midge's wotnot" of another shot of a fly doing press-ups on the window but ...
A ) I did one some time ago, even if today's was vastly better, though apparently the rules disallow my linking to it.
B ) There's an element of doubt as to how long it'll be before another Blacky sun-bathes on the lawn.
