Stromness Waterfront

Some busy.  The Current Mrs Creel had me across to Hoy on the first boat.  Then we returned at mid-day to order a new mattress and a sofa.  Bought a new TV from Orkney Television Enterprise in Stromness for CMS Snr now domiciled in Stromness.  Also sorted out some handles for the shower and swept her front step.

CMC Snr's accommodation is directly behind the houses in view.  She has been adventurous and has been out meeeting new neighbours and has dined at Julia's, The Ferry and at Raymie's cafe.

We then went for as brief visit to see Frieda (took her a packet of caramel nibbles) and then her sister Phyllis (who got a packet of large Cadbury's buttons).

They were wanting all the news.

We didn't have long to tarry as we dashed home just ahead of the local removal van which was delivering a secong hand paino for CMC.  She is ecstatic and is now tinkling away.  I'm away oot to cut the grass.  I'll have to be quick as it's my turn to make the tea.
