Towards the Brough
The local forecast said it would be dull all day so we knew it would perk up to blue skies and fluffy white clouds. The Orkney forecast comes from Aberdeen; the days of the Kirkwall Met Office are long gone.
So we ventured to the west coast again and walked down on to the Brough of Birsay; Marwick Head is a bit further on.
When we got home I cycled up to the village for the Thursday morning cafe in the village Kirk. I even volunteered CMC and myself to be put on the Rota (without CMC's permission).
When we rendezvoused back home CMC made some raspberry buns and I planted morre raddish, lettuce and carrots in the tunnel.
The Kashmir White geraniums are loking the best ever.
