Star flowers

A quick photo from the garden this evening, taken to the sound of a myriad of bees buzzing. These flowers are scattered throughout the garden and they are at their best at the moment. I've done a squeeze effect on the photo, together with a cross filter.

We were at a funeral this morning of an elderly lady who had attended both churches in the village, so both ministers took her service. For many years J had got around by using a very sturdy cloth shopping trolley which she pushed in front of her - and she was well known as the lady with the trolley! So a nice touch was that her trolley stood by her coffin with a photo of her on the top :-)

I must admit to staying indoors as much as poss today to avoid the pollen which really affected my sinuses yesterday. Hence the quick blip in the garden this evening!
