A Mothers Love
Popped in to see my photo buddy S today and her gorgeous new baby. Wanted to get a shot of her and her daughter, with baby J, but you've got to be quick with a toddler! I should know Little Miss E wasn't in a photogenic mood today either, as we tried to get her and Missy D together (again!) to no avail.
Never work with children and animals as they say. Well....apart from the Super Snail that was stuck to the condensation on the outside of my glass box this morning. Couldn't resist snapping him with the extension tube on the zoom this morning. That was nearly todays Blip, but I thought my friend may be a little upset if I chose a snail over her and her scrummy wee boy.
Munchkin 1 had his girlfriend over for tea after singing club. Then we suddenly had a house full of kids, with various folk knocking on the door. More the merrier I say!
A good time was had by all and the munckins got to speak to their daddy, who always seems to phone from the sandy place at tea time. Little Miss E wasn't in a talkative mood, and I suppose neither was he as the weeks are dragging on now...and he can't charge his laptop.
The lawn mower cut out two days ago despite me refilling with petrol. So in true female fashion I put it away in the shed hoping it would start if I left it alone and said hello again this afternoon. No such luck. So my lovely back lawn I've spent ages in tending will now be a wilderness as I can't take the mower to get fixed with a toddler in tow. Deep joy!
However on the brighter side, happy to report that I did all the ironing in one fail swoop watching three episodes back to back of Happy Valley....roll on the next three tonight!
