Mummy on a Mission

Summer nights...

...long may they continue.

After an awful heart wrenching start to the day, yep, Little Miss E had to be prised from me at Pre School when I dropped her off. Thank goodness the staff and her key worker are amazing. No sooner had I left the building, and she was giggling....the little minx. However I did feel awful , so the only way to deal with that on a sunny morning, was to crank up my new downloads and drive!

Bless the folk I work with, they must be fed up with my tales of woe, but they are a warm, caring and passionate bunch.

I didn't realise what a beautiful hot day it was until mid afternoon when I had to retrieve and set up a piano. I had been stuck inside the main school building all morning, then when I walked on to the playground, the heat hit me. It was glorious.
The sound of the kids too having their PE lesson, practising for sports day, on the field was lovely.

Had a mild panic today, although I know I have to pick secondary schools this year for my eldest, today, for reasons I won't go into, it all became very real after a few phone calls. Appointments now made for when Mr C returns. How time flies!

Munckin 1 is still cycling to and from school, and no accident yet. Its great for his growing independence, fitness and need to assess his own risk. Im afraid I never have been and never have been a helicopter parent, although many wouldn't agree it my attitude.

As it was such a lovely night, the munchkins and I ate outside and I had to have a wee glass of something as no school tomorrow for me or the kids. The weekend started tonight! so that is my Blip for today, my wee glass with my view. Bliss!
