I managed to get to work today, courtesy of my friend Jane who also works in Farnham and was happy to drive through the snow. I'm glad I didn't venture in my car because the car park at work looked a nightmare. The joruney in was very slow, but I think it was because everyone decided that they couldn't take any more time off work because of the snow and so they would have to make the effort to get into work today.

Tonight we went out for a meal to celebrate Paul's birthday - a day early but he is going out with friends tomorrow night so we decided to go out this evening instead. It was a lovely meal, even if the restaurant was a little quiet - not many people venturing out in such snowy conditions.
