Nearly Open.........

...........but a bit later and rather smaller than usual this peony is doing it's best. It was tucked away, in it's tub, in a corner and, for some reason, partly forgotten.
I feel rather guilty but, for many reasons, I've not been able to give my little garden the attention it should have had this year. I will try harder now I'm feeling a bit better and when the flower is finished, I will give it a good feed and some fresh compost in the hopes that it will do better next time!

My hairdresser is due at about 10am - a light "perm" is on the agenda prior to leaving on our holiday in 10 days time - am very undecided whether or not to have it cut or not - Anni suggested I have the "perm" this week and if it seems a bit long afterwards, have it "snipped" next week. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Another lovely morning - sunshine and blue sky - light breeze - temperature is already reading 64 Deg.F at 8.30am.
