Yellowhammer (Emberiza citrinella)

I went for a walk on the South Downs after tea and did a circular and on my way up the South Downs I passed a Hawthorn that had a Yellowhammer singing away in it. They are a common species, but seem to be always abundant on the South Downs. They are very brightly coloured and their song of "A-Little-Bit-Of-Bread-And-No-Cheese" is like no other bird call that I am aware of.

I have not attempted to photograph a bird with this camera befiore, so this seems to have come out fairly well.

This is the second attempt to put this on here (Blip Management MUST sort out the over capacity problems NOW!)
