Vapour trails

The sky was criss-crossed with vapour trails this morning.

The little pimple about a third of the way across from the left on the horizon is Wellington Monument. It's actually 53 metres high triangular section tower and is a Grade II* listed building, built to commemorate the Duke of Wellington's victory at the Battle of Waterloo. Currently closed to the public as it has structural problems.
