Summer Days ...drifting away

Days here are slipping away.

The machair is so beautiful at this time of year .
Today we saw lots of deep red orchids in the field beside the RSPB cottage and the road up to the cemetery had lots of white wild roses with a beautiful evocative scent.

Reminding me of times long gone and times when life was simple and summers lasted for ever.
