Brownell Lake
Today is cold, windy, and raining with whitecaps on the lake.
The serious fishermen find the conditions not to be a problem and went out in the boats.
I find the conditions perfect for a hike along the shoreline of the cove east of the fishing camp.
The woods are not easily penetrated and the black bear we’ve seen while fishing are not to be taken lightly, so staying on the shore and not too far from camp was my plan.
I brought my fishing rod along.
Great walk and a 22.5 inch walleye to show for it.
Sweet.
