As promised

Last week I said I wasn't ready for The World Cup.

I also said that cometh the hour then cometh the man.

The flag is up.

It has been approved by one of our neighbours children.

He asked how long I was keeping it up.

"At least until England are out. But if we win it I'll keep I up for another month. Is that okay?"

He thought for a short while then said,

"But we will be the winners for more than a month"

I could neither argue nor disappoint the child.

So if England does win the World Cup the flag stays up!
