Birthday girl

Daughter #2's 13th birthday today. All the kids came into our bedroom and she opened her presents there. She got a Penny board (which came with a free hat that had her name on, a pair of blue converses and lots of other bits and bobs. She was very happy about the board.
My son had his last GCSE today. A physics exam at 9am. I have him a lift to school on the way to work. He called me at 11.30 to say that he couldn't get into the house - his key wouldn't' work so I had to come home.
Our new oven and hob arrived today.
The weather today was glorious. Really, really warm.
Daughter #2 came home with four of her friends and they all went to the park with their boards.
At 6pm we went to Red Peppers for a birthday meal. The penny board came with us.
When we got home we sang happy birthday in the garden.
Hubby installed the new oven and then we watched the first half of the opening match of the World Cup.
