Swimming with Water Lilies

The weather forecast said sunny in the morning, but rain and thunder later on the day, so I took the boys out for a good long morning walk before the weather changed.

10 mins after we returned home, the thunder and lightning started! It has stopped now, but it is still cold and wet.

Our morning walk was lovely though. I am still having lots of fun with my camera on our walk. Today I found some beautiful poppies and these water lilies. So pretty. Oh and a cow with the cutest face :-) You can see it all on Flickr.

I have blipped Biscuit two days in a row, so it was Hero's turn today :-)

The plan is to spend the rest of the day preparing for defending my thesis on the 20th. Oh it is hard to find the motivation to return to the books.
