Mercy Dash

I noticed this bee (is it a bee?) on the carpet. It was still and on its back. I thought it was dead so I went to pick it up and it moved. The poor little creature was exhausted and dehydrated.

So I got a plate and put a few grains of brown sugar on it and scooped the bee onboard.

BLIP! I thought. I dashed for my camera and got two shots before, sufficiently revived, it started moving and flew off.

A good result, I reckon.

I would be interested if any Blipper can identify it.
