Curiouser and curiouser

I was keen to see the latest weird goings on just below Edinburgh Castle - see kaja333's blip from 10th June. Things were just as weird today - the fire was out but still smoking and it looked as if an assault on the castle had met with a gory end. Sadly I won't be around for the next week as I'm off on holiday to Italy (not sad at all, actually), so I won't see the next thrilling episode in this strange saga. Hope someone else will be keeping an eye on things.
