This week's homework is to freeze frame a dribbling tap and work out what shutter speed you need . I am sure this is basic knowledge to a lot of you but this is my very first foray out of auto - to semi auto where I control the shutter speed.
Sitting on the ground next to the outside drain where there was more light than indoors, I worked out that a shutter speed of 1/2000 gave me perfect drops. At 1/1000 you could see the separate drops but they were slightly blurred. Faster than 1/2000 it got a bit dark.
Success.
