Pictures & Woodwork.

Mounted Skeleton Clock....

Yes I say mounted, but in fact it is only temporary until I have done the rest of the work around the outside of the circle you can see around the clock face..

It took me most of the day to cut out the hole for the clock and to do it accurately, so that it is a snug fit.
You will see either side at the bottom two holes I have cut. The reason I have done this is so the curvature continues around and out towards the edge of the the base. The pencil lines are at an almost right angle as you can see. I wanted to create a 'flow' around the mount and clock. It will become more apparent when I have removed the excess wood.
You can also see by the two holes how thick the piece of wood is.

If you are becoming 'bored' of the clock, please say so, but I only hope it is of interest to you all.
Once I have completed the project, I will blip it and return to 'proper' photography with landscapes and some close ups hopefully.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend. I am off to work tomorrow and will continue my project later on in the week.

Take care.
