Hooked

Wow, we had had an epic storm last night. We woke around 2am with a very worried cat, heavy rain, thunder and lightning. Probably should have got up to take a photo!

An early morning run for me (Chris) before it got too warm. Feeling better as I've got back into more of a running routine after the past 2-3 weeks. The girls are with us and Immy made an early start on homework whilst Rosie having also been woken by the storms, went for an extended lie in.

It's always good to learn stuff in life and we learnt two valuable lessons today:

1) The metal hooks for pinch pleat curtains are pretty hard to come by and you need to visit 5 shops and taking nearly two houses before finding a curtain specialist that stocks them;

2) Annie should look more carefully in boxes when unpacking them. Especially when the boxes contain new curtains with pinch pleats and there's a full bag of curtain hooks buried at the bottom.
