Englishman on the beach

A day off and we headed south. First stop Fenwick Village, to view a house.

Then Lindisfarne, for a walk on the beach. The weather had been decidedly 'iffy' when we set off, but by the time we reached Lindisfarne it was very pleasantly warm - hot even. Tide out, deserted beach, heat haze - magical!

On to Amble for another house viewing, and then to Morpeth for some shopping. Back home a VERY long way round - via Chatton and Wooler.
