Süße Does Stick

As I've said in the past, Süße doesn't care about sticks. Balls yes, sticks no. Well, I sit corrected. When no ball can be found, Süße will grab a stick. She'll even fetch the stick. Not any stick -- just the one she picked out first. The problem with this plan is Sali likes sticks. Battles ensued over stick territory. Sticks were stolen and stolen back. In the end, (pictured here) Süße more or less ATE the stick she was fetching and coincidentally, the one Sali wanted. As Süße ate chunks of stick and spit them out, Sali was right there to pick up the discarded pieces for a chew herself.... and the wife was right there to take said small wood pieces out of the puppy's mouth, for fear she would (wood?) hurt herself by actually eating the stick pieces parts.
