Sunshine Lazy

A very lazy start to a lazy day. Got some errands done and then a stroll along the prom to take in the RowPorty Regatta atmosphere. It was great to see so many skiffs racing along from up and down the east coast. Hats off to the folks who had the vision to bring rowing back to Portobello.

I then headed out a little later to see the Baton for the Commonwealth Games being taken along the prom. It seemed the least I could do since they brought the baton from around the former empire to the bottom of my street. It was a rather funny event - the person carrying the baton strolled along while the tv camera crew raced after her.

The evening was spent watching the football.

A very lazy day all 'round so here's an appropriate song to go with it.
