All aboard!
Despite daddy still being away, 7 weeks now, I took the Munchkins out for Fathers Day to our local steam railway. Munchkin 1 had a tweenager sulk as he didn't want to go out, but had a great day in the end. Little Miss E loved it too but clung to me for dear life on the platform when the big steamie "wheeshed" its way along the platform...as I was on my knees trying to taking some shots. Haha, when will I learn?
So that is todays Blip, I waited until, as I thought everyone had got off the train, to capture the corridor, while obviously still holding Little Miss E for fear she may do a runner! then all of a sudden this man appeared, I waited a bit longer, but he wasn't for moving, so in hindsight I should have asked him politely, but my back was getting sore so I departed and off we went to adventuring to the end of the platform where there were dilapidated cabins and a rebuilt iron bridge, to wait for the next one coming along. I got thoroughly weeshed and toot tooted!
Then off for lunch, a bit of shopping, playing in the play park and home. Little Miss E predictably fell asleep in the van.
Munchkin 1 has started watching all the X Men movies. Xmen 2 tonight as he has no school tomorrow. Although they're 12's I'm quite happy as I'm watching too and it's only the s word. However.... tonight while I was editing some images I heard what I thought was heavy breathing and panting, I shouted through, are they snogging? To the reply of " eeeeew yeeees". So I had a look and there was about to be just a bit more than that, so In true panic mode I told him to close his eyes and I scrambled for the remote, but it was merely a mutant acting as a decoy.... Phew... No boobies in sight!
Happy Fathers Day to the daddies out there!
