Lalique

The snow was melting and I had an appointment in the middle of Georgian London. My intention, to take lots of interesting architectural shots without snow and choose the best for today's post, my 10th. Then it snowed again, too much to get the car out, too much for the trains to run. So here I am at my desk remotely connected to the office again. Each time I climb back up to my study with a cup of coffee in my hand I look at this vase on the staircase windowsill, with the white snowy light shining through its opalescent glass....
